To develop cellulose-based materials that exhibit circularly polarized luminescence for advanced optical applications, particularly in 3D displays and data storage.
Main objectives:
- Synthesize new dye molecules with extended absorption/emission spectra.
- Embed these molecules into cellulose matrices to achieve circularly polarized light emission.
- Characterize and optimize the resulting films for potential industrial applications.
