The lyocell process is considered more sustainable than that of the viscose. However, the potential of versatile applications of Lyocell is hindered by its hightendency to fibrillate, which causes pilling and uneven dyeing. Also, the lustrousappearance and silky hand-feel limit consumer choices for a wide range ofapplications.

Enhance the versatility of lyocell fibers by tuning their properties to achievea range of functions and textures (lusters, hand-feels, etc.) therebyexpanding their applications and market share.
