Fan Zhang: Cellulose-based green electronics

This project aims to develop the cellulose or other biomaterials materials for high-performance electromagnetic wave Interference (EMI) protectors and broaden their potential in 6G telecommunication.

Main objectives:

  • To obtain environmentally friendly EMI shielding materials with excellent performance- high shielding effectiveness, broad band
  • To prospect the possibility of as synthesized materials in telecommunication area, such as Reconfigurable intelligent surface, antennas.
  • To explore other potential applications of cellulose and lignin
