Andreas Schröder: Reactive fractionation of biomass towards highly reactive lignin

The aim of this study is to obtain highly reactive lignin from various sources of biomass through fractionation and modification.

• Development of fractionation processes that isolate lignin with high reactivity from different biomass.
• Characterization of the structure, chemical composition, and properties.
• Find potential processes and applications.
